I stand on the corner applauding him
-- he made it !

Un homme traverse la rue
Du coin de la rue je l'applaudis
-- il a réussi !

By the hammer
By the blow
-- the nail finds its way

Par le marteau
Par le coup
-- le clou trouve le chemin

The mother's talk
The child's ear
-- the plans of a kingdom burn

Les paroles de la mère
Les oreilles de l'enfant
-- les plans d'un royaume brûlent
